Gábor is listening to... 2020/42
Even though it cannot claim as much commercial success as it had during the 90s, legendary German dance-techno music project U96 is still active and has just released a brand new album.
Those who were grown up listening to music in the 1990s definitely remember hits like Club Bizarre, Love Religion or Heaven, not to mention U96's debut track Das Boot, which was #1 in several countries and reached the Top 20 in the UK.
The project produced four albums in the 1990s (Das Boot, Replugged, Club Bizarre, Heaven) and after a short detour into the world of pop in 2007 with the album Out of Wilhelmsburg U96 said goodbye to co-founder Alex Christensen and rebooted its electronic self in 2018 with the album REBOOT.
Transhuman, which is a joint venture with former Karftwerk percussionist Wolfgang Flür, was released on 4 September 2020.
