Gábor is listening to... 2019/24
This is one of those rare moments when I am completely satisfied with the music industry due to the comeback of English pop/rock band Keane.
Their debut album Hopes and Fears (2004) has been one of the best selling and most influential records of its decade in the UK including the band's - probably - most well-know song (which is also their signature style) Everybody's Changing.
Ironically, Keane has had four studio albums between 2004 and 2012 but none other in the last seven years, which can be accounted for because of the band's hiatus that has recently been ended. Whether they intended to split up or it was only a creative pause, it does not really matter, however, singer Tom Chaplin did release a solo album in 2016 entitled The Wave.
Nevertheless, a new Keane album is on the way and based on the first single The Way I Feel it will sound just like it should: melodic, catchy and refreshing with meaningful lyrics.
Cause and Effect will be out on 20 September 2019.
