While not producing a follow-up LP to their debut album In a Tidal Wave of Mystery (2013), American duo Capital Cities are manufacturing EPs and singles.

After peaking at Top 10s all over the world (except e.g. UK #42 or Australia #16) with Vodafone-subsidized Safe & Sound, moderate success followed: on one hand 2016 saw a minor, nevertheless genial comeback with single Vowels, on the other hand 2017 saw the release of Swimming Pool Summer EP.

My Name is Mars is Capital Cities' latest attempt on raising awareness with easy lyrics and funky, laid-back beats.
