Richard Melville Hall AKA Moby has been an influential electronic dance music producer in the 1990s, experimenting with techno and hardcore (source: Wikipedia) as heard on his 1995 record Everything Is Wrong, which has been certified Gold in the UK and features songs like I Feel So Real or Everytime You Touch Me.
Moby's most remarkable album, however, has been Play (1999), which - even though still house and electronica influenced - on the one hand features the quite popular but also quite downtempo hit Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad?, on the other hand the music video of the song is the first of the series introducing Moby's animated character called Little Idiot.
After studio albums number six (18 in 2002) seven (Hotel in 2005) and eight (Last Night in 2009) the hype around the American musician started to cease despite releasing six more LPs.
Critically still accalimed, Moby is looking forward to presenting his fifteenth studio album Everything Was Beautiful and Nothing Hurt. It will be available for purchase on 2 March, 2018.
