After having teamed up with American pop-rock duo Sparks for an FFS joint venture, Scottish band Franz Ferdinand are returning to their indie rock roots with the release of their fifth studio album, entitled Always Ascending.

The official video for the title track appeared on YouTube on 4 December 2017 but the new record is not available for purchase until February 2018.
