Originally the frontman of English rock band The Smith, Morrissey is known for his academically acclaimed lyrics that are politically-oriented, playing with gender and are filled with dark humour.

Morrissey has released eleven albums, three of which - Viva Hate (1989), Vauxhall and I (1994) and Ringleader of the Tormentors (2006) - have reached number one but all of which have reached the top ten of the UK Albums Chart.

His latest record, which was released on 17 November 2017, is entitled Low in High School and features the single Spent The Day in Bed.
