English singer-songwriter Jack Savoretti has released five albums but it was not until his fourth Written In Scars (2015)- when he was signed to BMG - that he reached the UK Top 10 and gained gold status.

Savoretti's latest album Sleep No More (2016) has had a re-release as a double CD edition in the autumn of 2017 featuring acoustic versions of the original album tracklist as well as new material.

One of the new songs on the reissued album is called Whiskey Tango, which is not a typical Savoretti tune, however, according to the Independent it is a dark song in a funny enough way that is fun for the singer to play live. Savoretti also stated that his latest songs "sound like a saloon", of which Whiskey Tango could easily be an example.
