As the temperature turned from hot to cold in a jiffy, let me offer you a Top 10 of autumn-proof songs that you might enjoy regardless of the weather conditions.

1. Taken from Maroon 5's forthcoming sixth studio album - which has the scheduled release date of 3rd November, 2017 - What Lovers Do features young American neo-soul singer SZA.

2. While shortly after his death it was stated that George Michael had been working with Naughty Boy on a comback, his first posthumous single is actually an old track remastered by Nile Rodgers. Fantasy was originally released as a B-Side in the 80s but and now has been speeded-up to place the singer's voice back into the radio within a contemporary context.

3. U2's fourteenth studio album Songs of Experience, which will be out on 1st December, is the promised second part of previously recorded Songs of Innocence (2014).

4. Welsh rock band Stereophonics will release their tenth album Scream Above The Sounds on 27th October, 2017.

5. English singer-songwriter and actress Paloma Faith releases her fourth studio album The Architect on 17th November, 2017.

6. Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark or OMD are back with their 13th album entitled The Punishment of Luxury. Throughout a couple of changes in the line-up, the band is basically back to its originaly state with only Malcom Holmes missing due to health issues, replaced by Stuart Kershaw. While The Punishment of Luxury takes its name from a painting by Giovanni Segantini (according to Wikipedia), the record itself is basically a methaphor for society corrupted by marketing.

7. Englisg synth-pop duo Hurts will release their fourth album soon, on 29th September, 2017. It is entitled Desire.

8. The Killers are about to release their brand new record Wonderful Wonderful on Friday, 22nd September, 2017.

9. Even though British singer Craig David had a six-year-long hiatus before regaining fame with Following My Intuition in 2016, he has just announced that his seventh album will be available in January 2018. The Time Is Now will feature quite a few interesting names like Jonas Blue, Chase & Status or Talay Riley.
