The Kaleidoscope EP by Coldplay was released on 14th July and is a follow-up to their latest LP A Head Full of Dreams.

EPs or Extended Play records are generally not singles thus they contain more than one song, however, they unqualify as LPs or Long Play records (albums), because they contain less tracks. Originally an EP was supposed to be vinyl, but nowdays it can be CD or downloadable material as well.

Coldplay's Kaleidoscope EP contains five songs that could not make it onto A Head Full of Dreams thus the two records can be regarded as one.
