May Day Top 10

Let us celebrate International Workers' Day with some brand new music.

1. English synthpop duo Hurts celebrate May Day by working on their new album, which does not have a name yet nor a release date. There is, however, a brand new song entitled Beautiful Ones.

2. The American HAIM sisters are also working on a new record, which is due to be released in July 2017 and I'm sayin' that I need it, right now, right now... :)

3. It is possible that Thunder is not only the title of the new Imagine Dragons single but also the title of their forthcoming third studio album.

4. No Vacancy is a new, non-album track by American pop/rock band OneRepublic.

5. With their debut album VHS still being popular, American rock band X-Ambassadors are offering the second new track in 2017 entitled Torches.

6. British indie rock band Maximo Park released their sixth studio album Risk To Exist two weeks ago and entered the UK Album Charts at number 11.

7. Jump On Board is the ninth studio album by Scottish pop/rock band Texas. It was released in April 2017 and became a Top 10 record in the UK and a number one in France.

8. Blondie's eleventh album Pollinator will be out on Friday, 5th May 2017 and from the two singles it is possible to tell that it will be an open invitation onto the dancefloor.

9. English duo Goldfrapp returned to their darker electronic roots with new album Silver Eye, which was released at the end of March 2017.

10. Humanz is the title of the fifth studio album by British virtual band Gorillaz. Out now.
