Gábor is listening to... 2017/15

I wasn't expecting this because, to be honest, I wasn't quite aware of them still making music therefore the return of English pop/rock band Mike + The Mechanics definitely surprised me - positively, I would say.

Remembering them from my childhood as the band with the song Over My Shoulder (1995), Mike + The Mechanics have actually released eight albums. Originally formed in 1985 by Mike Rutherford - who also was part of the original Genesis line-up - the group went through a couple of changes and now includes singer Andrew Roachford, the leading artist behind the quite successful 90s British band Roachford.

In addition, the contemporary Mike + The Mechanics set-up features second singer Tim Howar as well as a slightly modernized sound, however, Let Me Fly, their latest album was released last week and is currently a new entry on the UK Album Charts at number 9.
