It's awkward to realize how time flies - for me it feels like Lorde's Royals has been a recent hit. Actually, it was three and a half years ago.

The singer from New Zealand became popular in no time back in 2013 with her debut album Pure Heroine and its singles, and for a short time she might have been the next best superstar - but she was just turning 17 in that year and after being sick of her overplayed tunes we knew she would be more mature someday.

Eventually, that "someday" is now. Besides her remarkable cooperation with the British dance lads of Disclosure, Lorde hadn't been really in the spotlight until a couple of days ago when she introduced her new, self-developed single Green Light as a teaser for her forthcoming second album.

Melodrama is due to be released on 16th June 2017 proving that Ella Marija Lani Yelich-O'Connor is definitely not a teenager anymore.
