Justin Timberlake released - under controversial circumstances - his fifth album Man of the Woods on 2 February 2018, which topped the charts in Belgium, Holland, Denmark, Canada, the Czech Republic, Germany and in the USA. Alongside JT, Scottish rock band Simple Minds released their eighteenth studio album Walk Between Worlds, reaching Top Ten in Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Scotland and the UK.
Franz Ferdinand's Always Ascending and MGMT's Little Dark Age were both released on 9 February 2018.
Australian singer Vance Joy released his second album Nation of Two on 23 February 2018, which became #1 in Australia and Top Ten in the USA.
Moby released Everything Was Beautiful, and Nothing Hurt on 2 March 2018. On the same day Tracey Thorn released Record.
Editors released sixth studio album Violence on 9 March 2018.
Both English singer-songwriter George Ezra and American R&B diva Toni Braxton released albums on 23 March 2018. His Staying at Tamara's became a UK #1 and her Sex & Cigarettes topped the UK R&B Albums Chart. Irish singer-songwriter Rea Garvey released his fourth studio album Neon the same day.
Legendary American vocal group En Vogue released their seventh album Electric Café on 30 March 2018.
Kylie Minogue released Golden on 6 April. Her fourteenth album became a worldwide success topping the charts in both Australia and in the UK.
Welsh rock band Manic Street Preachers released their thirteens album Resistance is Futile on 13 April 2018, which became #1 in Scotland and #2 in the UK.
Sting and Shaggy released 44/876 alongside American electronic music duo Thievery Corporation and their Treasures from the Temple on 20 April 2018.
Janelle Monáe released Dirty Computer on 27 April 2018.
In May 2018 Arctic Monkeys released their sixth UK #1 album Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino; Charlie Puth released Voicenotes; James Bay released Electric Light; CHVRCHES released Love Is Dead; Leon Bridges released Good Thing and Northern-Irish band Snow Patrol released their seventh album Wildness, which has been certified Silver in the UK.
On the one hand 1 June 2018 saw the release of English singer-songwriter Ben Howard's third album Noonday Dream, on the other hand Christina Aguilera's Liberation came out two weeks later on 15 June becoming her seventh US Top Ten album.
In addition, British electronic music producer Chicane's The Place You Can't Remember, The Place You Can't Forget was released on 8 June 2018.
To finish with both Gorillaz and Florence + The Machine released albums on 29 June 2018. The former is entitled The Now Now and the latter bears the title High as Hope.
